Biography

ANTONIO LONGO, è nato nel 1950, vive a Roma. 

Dottore in Scienze Politiche e specializzato in Sociologia della comunicazione, dal 1998 è presidente del Movimento Difesa del Cittadino (MDC), associazione nazionale di consumatori e utenti. Fa parte del Consiglio Nazionale Consumatori e Utenti (CNCU), del Direttivo nazionale di Legambiente  e del Comitato governativo Italia digitale.

Giornalista professionista, si interessa in particolare di economia e problemi sociali. E’ direttore del mensile "Diritti&Consumi".  Ha fondato e dirige "Help consumatori", la prima agenzia italiana sui consumi.

E’ autore di saggi, tra cui "Le voci del ’68"(con G. Monti),2008; "Pubblica Amministrazione e cittadini on line",2004; Dizionario del '68(con G. Monti),1998; "Salari in gabbia",1996; "Operaie contro" con A. Megale),1994; "Italia cattolica"(con G. Brunetta S.J.,1991.
